Having a love for both Astrology and Astronomy since childhood, it always bothered me that the correspondence between Astronomy and Western (Tropical) Astrology didn’t match up.
The Sun, Moon and Planets are actually traveling through each constellation on dates which differ quite a bit from the tropical zodiac used in the west. Tropical Astrology is actually off by almost an entire sign -- that makes a huge difference when you are trying to interpret the Collective Territory that we are traveling through.
Tropical or Sidereal?
You will need to decide that for yourself.
Personally, after years of studying and following charts using both systems, I'm convinced that Vedic (Jyotish) aka Sidereal Astrology provides the most accurate and predictable data for navigating and interpreting the cosmic territory that we are traveling through and for interpreting the birth charts that represent the gifts and unique potential that we have arrived with in this lifetime.
Even if you are a devout "troplcalist", follow along, you may be pleasantly surprised by how aligned you feel with the "cosmic weather" forecasts, musings and insights that I share.
